# hmny.coffee Minecraft Server — Client Setup

**Server address:** `mc.hmny.coffee` (TCP port 25565, the default — no port needed)
**Minecraft:** Java Edition 26.3
**Mod loader:** Fabric 0.19.5

## Quick start

1. Install PrismLauncher: <https://prismlauncher.org/download>
2. Sign in with the Microsoft account that owns Minecraft (**Accounts → Add Microsoft**).
3. Create an instance for version **26.3** with **Fabric 0.19.5**.
4. Add the 12 mods from the pack to the instance's mods folder.
5. Launch the game and connect to `mc.hmny.coffee`.

Keep these versions as provided. Do not add other mods unless they are confirmed to be compatible with the server.

## PrismLauncher setup

1. Install PrismLauncher from <https://prismlauncher.org/download>.
2. Add your Microsoft account under **Accounts**.
3. Click **Add Instance**:
   - Name: `hmny`
   - Version: **26.3**
   - Enable **Fabric** and select loader **0.19.5**
   - Confirm with **OK** and wait for the download to finish.
4. Right-click the instance → **Edit** → **Mods** → **Add** and select all 12 jars, or click **Open Folder** and copy them into the mods folder.
5. Optional — increase memory: **Edit** → **Settings** → **Java** → **4096 MiB** (6144 if using shaders and Distant Horizons).
6. Launch the instance, then **Multiplayer** → **Add Server** → `mc.hmny.coffee`.

## Official launcher setup

1. Run the Fabric installer from <https://fabricmc.net/use/installer>:
   - Game version: **26.3**
   - Loader version: **0.19.5**
   - Click **Install**.
2. Launch the new `fabric-loader-26.3-0.19.5` profile once, then close the game.
3. Copy the 12 jars into your mods folder:
   - Windows: `%APPDATA%\.minecraft\mods`
   - macOS: `~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/mods`
4. Relaunch the game and connect to `mc.hmny.coffee`.

## Shaders (optional)

Iris is included in the pack.

1. Obtain **Sildur's Vibrant Shaders v2.02 Extreme** (`Sildur's Vibrant Shaders v2.02 Extreme.zip`) from the group chat, or from <https://sildurs-shaders.github.io/downloads/>.
2. Place the `.zip` file **without extracting it** in the instance's `shaderpacks` folder (in Prism: **Edit → Shader Packs → Add**).
3. In game: **Options → Video Settings → Shader Packs**, select Sildur's, and apply.

## Distant Horizons

Distant Horizons is included and works on the server as provided (LODs are generated client-side). Configure it under **Video Settings → Distant Horizons**. It is the most demanding mod in the pack; reduce LOD distance or quality if performance drops.

## Connecting

- Address: `mc.hmny.coffee`
- Port: 25565 (default; leave the port field blank)
- The server is hosted in the US; latency depends on your location.
- Report server issues in the group chat.
